Humble Indie Bundle 7 Announced

Fresh off the very successful Humble THQ Bundle (and the somewhat less successful Double Fine Amnesia Month Humble Bundle) comes Humble Indie Bundle 7. If you don’t know what a Humble Indie Bundle is then where have you been? The Humble Indie Bundle is a collection of indie games (a bundle if you will) that is pay what you want, DRM free and a portion of the money goes towards charity. It’s fully customisable too, so you can set what portion of your money goes to the developers, the charities and the Humble Bundle team themselves. The two charities involved are: The Electronic Frontier Foundation; a group that helps protect your rights around the globe from corporations, and Child’s Play Charity; a charity set up to let gamers show the better side of their nature by helping sick kids have fun.

The games in the bundle this time around are The Binding of Isaac (and its DLC, Wrath of the Lamb), Closure, Shank 2 and Snapshot. Also in the bundle is Indie Game: The Movie, a movie (oddly enough) about the creation of indie games, interested in how the sausage gets made? Or want to create games yourself? Then you’ll want to watch this. Then if you pay over the average (currently $5.87) you’ll also gain access to Dungeon Defenders (and its DLC) and Legend of Grimrock. But wait, there’s more, you’ll also gain access to the soundtracks of all the games and the movie.

So far every Humble Bundle has had additional games announced but you’ll only get them if you pay over the average. So why not pay over the average now, even if you’ve got the games on display, because you’re sure to get something just as cool a little bit later.
